Tom's Lodge is located right in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, the largest National Park in the UK. Not only is the Lodge in an ideal location for the many outdoor adventures that await you, but cosy up next to the log fire with a dram you can enjoy one of the best views in the area has to offer from the comfort of your sofa, with the stunning Cairngorm Mountain range in the background and the world famous River Spey meandering its way down the valley floor, not to mention its also right in the centre of the Speyside Whisky trail with the highest concentration of distilleries in the world all within a short drive away.

A family gathering, a special occasion, or simply a cosy get away from the hustle and bustle of life, Tom's Lodge is a stunning retreat that will create memories that will last a lifetime whatever the occasion.

As you step into the Lodge you are immediately drawn to the glass wall and the panoramic view that falls away before you which is simply awesome. The open plan arrangement of the kitchen diner and leading onto the spacious lounge is ideal for entertaining, and after dinner relax into the two generous leather sofas with a dram next to the log burning stove.

Heading up stairs to the family suite is a king-size bed which leads onto a lounge area where you can relax in peace or, on the fine weather days sit outside on the balcony with a coffee and a good book.

There are two king-size rooms, double room and a twin room, and the flexible living space of the lounge means that the two sofas can convert into comfortable sofa beds meaning that Tom's Lodge can sleep up to 10. All the bedrooms have smart TV, memory foam mattresses, duck down duvets and the highest quality linen.

To add to the luxury experience you will enjoy at Tom's Lodge, how about at the end of your day indulge yourself and enjoy the simply stunning Hot tub and take in the night sky and possibly even see the Northern Lights.

You will have a truly fantastic stay at Tom's Lodge and want to come back time and time again.

Local Area

As well as the amazing indoors of Tom's Lodge, you can’t come to the Cairngorms without enjoying some of what the Great Outdoors have to offer.

The area really does have it all when it comes to the outdoor activities however extreme or mellow you want to be.

How about flying through the trees on a zip line at 50km hour at G2 Outdoor just a short drive from the Lodge, if mountain biking is your thing there are miles of trails around that will suite all abilities for beginners to extreme single-track trails, why not try hiring an e-bike from the local bike shop in the Boat of Garten and keep up with the fittest of bikers.

Families’ days out can be full of fun and memories, how about whizzing down the water slides, or scaling the heights of the forest on the high level walkways at Landmark Forest Adventure park, or what about the cute baby Amir Tigers at the Highland Wildlife Park, or white water rafting on the River Findhorn but to mention a few.

If you prefer a slightly relaxed pace, how about flyfishing on the world-famous River Spey and in particular the Broom Hill beat just 5-minute drive from Tom's, or perhaps a visit to Gragganmore Distillery (one of 50!) in the area is well worth it, sample some of the best selections of the single malts.

The Cairngorms National Park is all about 'Inspiring adventure', there truly is something for everyone and you’re sure to want to come and explore the area time and time again.
